Come along and enjoy 2 of the best up and coming Scottish bands each week, with occasional White Noise touring band specials (ticket prices may vary).
Come along and support your local talent, we’ll be offering to record their sets and share mailing lists too as we want White Noise to not just be fun for you and the bands but to help them to spread the word of their tunes to wider audiences.

9th June – Piltocan
Pilotcan are a rock band from Edinburgh, Scotland. Based around the song writing of EVOL DJ Keiron Mellotte. They have 3 LPs out on EVOL Records, 2 singles on Rock action, and one Peel Session available through Strange Fruit. Currently Pilotcan are recording their 4th LP "The bats fly out from under the bridge" in Chem 19 Studio with Delgado drummer Paul Savage.
30th June – Homework
Homework hail form Inverness, Mull and Dumfries and were formed in Edinburgh in early 2008. They are made up of Oli Kass (vocals, guitar and programming), Ross Baird (vocals, guitar and moog), Ally Dennis (bass and backing vocals) and Richard Kass (drums). From the outset they were clear that they wanted to make interesting, original and emotive music and to try and push the boundaries of what could be considered commercial. They draw their influences from a wide variety of acts including Wilco, The Chemical Brothers, Cinematic Orchestra and Talking Heads.
In 2009, after a year of writing and rehearsing Homework released their debut EP “Sleepless Nights” recorded at The Depot with Ric Rogass. The EP is available from all good indie record shops/major download sites. 2009 proved to be an exciting year for the band as they opened the T Break stage at T in the Park.
Homework went back in to the studio in November to begin recording their first album which is currently untitled. Work is continuing now at the Depot for the album which will be released later this year.
