The Edinburgh International Festival is launching a new initiative, IN, where festival-goers get access to the stars of the shows this month with a free party on June 23 at the Roxy Art House, 6.30 - 8.30pm.
According to the release, "Festival fans can enjoy unprecedented access to Edinburgh International Festival shows and artists".
It is aimed at 20 to 30somethings and costs just £20 to join. The publicity states: "members of IN will be offered hot tickets to exclusive VIP parties and behind the scenes events, invites to preview performances, exclusive discounts on selected performances, and the chance to brush shoulders with the artists and production staff at the heart of Festival 2010."
The June 23 party will offer a chance to take up ticket offers at this year's Festival, Festival 2010 goodie-bags, complimentary drinks, and a competition, all to a soundtrack of Latin and New World tracks from DJ Brian d'Souza.
Attendance is free, but places are limited and must be reserved in advance.
To get on the guest list for the launch event please email [email protected] by Monday 21 June.
