Dig out your dancing shoes and get ready to help celebrate a Scottish charity's big birthday. Chest, Heart & Stroke Scotland is marking its 110th year with special events around the country including ceilidh and whisky tasting next month in Edinburgh.
The event takes place during the charity's Awareness Week which this year invites everyone to Step Out for Scotland by taking steps to improve their own health and fitness. What better way to do so than by dancing the night away at the Ceilidh at the Royal Overseas League, Princes Street on Friday 9th October from 7.30 pm till 1.00 am. Music will be provided by the John Stewart Ceilidh Band as well as accomplished musicians from the charity's own Heart Failure Volunteer Service and there will be a professional whisky tasting as well as a Scottish Quiz, a raffle with amazing prizes and a caricaturist.
Tickets priced at £8 for Ceilidh, and £12 for Whisky Tasking and Ceilidh are available from the Ticket Hotline 0131 225 4800, or from CHSS at 65 North Castle Street EH2 3LT.
