Martin at Leith Folk Club writes: "We've presented something like forty gigs this year so we've decided to have a short break on 15th and 22nd September.

To make up for it, we're putting on an extra gig on Monday 19th October - we're presenting this extra show because our friends at Sixshooter Records in Toronto offered us the chance to book Melissa McLelland and Amelia Curran, two musicians we have been trying to book for a very very long time - an opportunity not to be missed!"

All gigs are at The Village Pub

coming to Leith with Appaloosa, a band of elite bluegrass musicians
whose skill and sheer joy in the music will ensure that this a very
special evening.

Monday 19 October - Melissa McLelland and Amelia Curran

Fantastic
double bill featuring two singing-songwriting wonders from our good
friends at Toronto's Sixshooter Records. We first saw Melissa a couple
of years ago and were blown away by her power and charm. Amelia's
carefully crafted songs reflect the mystery of her native Newfoundland
and brim with skillful writing.
