Warlocks and Witches in a Dance:New Exhibition by Blind Artists

NEW EXHIBITION - WARLOCKS AND WITCHES IN A DANCE

An exhibition of artwork by young blind people who have
drawn inspiration from the works of Robert Burns is to go on show from May 2009
at the Writers' Museum, Edinburgh.

‘Warlocks and Witches in a Dance' is a joint venture between
the Writers' Museum, the Royal
Blind
School
and Pentland Art Club.

The exhibition, which is one of Edinburgh's
‘Homecoming' events, will display works by 12 adults from the Pentland Art Club
and 12 children from the Royal
Blind
School.

Councillor Deidre Brock, Convener of Culture and Leisure
said: "This innovative art project is an exciting way of
introducing Burns to the young and to the visually impaired and I
think a visit to the resulting exhibition will be an inspirational
experience."

Warlocks and Witches in a Dance will run for three months
from 2 May - 2 August and entry is free.
