CITY STORIES

An
exhibition of black and white photographs taken by Norman McBeath in cities
such as Paris, New York , Venice and Edinburgh, revealing what these
places have in common - with texts by prominent Scottish writer, Janice
Galloway. Admission free.

PARIS 2008

Popular Paris portrayed by final year photography
students from Stevenson College, Edinburgh.

This
exhibition, which has already been shown in Paris, is the result of a visit to the
French capital by 27 Stevenson College photography students. Cooperating
with their counterparts from the Parisian college, CIFAP, the Edinburgh students succeeded in capturing the
very essence of Paris today. Admission free

French-Swiss
writer Elisabeth Horem spent three years in Baghdad from 2 003 to 2006. She will
present and discuss her two accounts of life in Iraq: Shrapnels and Un jardin à Bagdad. Admission free, booking recommended. In
