DANCING FORTH
"An inspired evening of Scottish dance, music and song"
DANCING FORTH is a lively and inspired evening of the very best of Scottish
dance, music and song. The Edinburgh Branch of the RSCDS delights audiences
each year with this show in the Edinburgh Fringe and aim to do so again this
year.
Regularly rated as 5 stars, the show runs from 5th - 9th August at 7.30 pm
in the beautiful neo-classical Hall of the Edinburgh Academy.
Dancing Forth features members of our Demonstration team, all local dancers
in the Edinburgh area who enjoy sharing our traditional Scottish country
dances.
Jon Bews and friends provide spellbinding music on fiddle, accordion and
piano that you'll find it hard not to tap your toes to. We are also
delighted to be joined by talented local singers Fiona Main and Darren
Coutts.
We welcome David Ross again as our producer. This year David has chosen the
elements as his inspiration and will feature a blend of both old and more
modern pieces linked to earth, fire, water and air.
Come and see this lively combination!
