Half-Price Tickets for 2008 Tattoo

Tickets for this year's keenly awaited Edinburgh Tattoo
(1-23 August) have long since sold out, but at 10am on Monday, 21st July a
limited number of half-price tickets for the Thursday, July 31st preview
performance of the 59^th military showpiece go on sale from the
Tattoo Ticket Sales Office on Edinburgh's Market Street.

With weeks to go before the 2008 Tattoo season
opens, this occasion provides a final opportunity to obtain tickets for next
month's sold-out show.

Seat prices for the preview range from £6.50 to
£22.00 and, as well as box office counter sales, tickets may also be had by
telephone on 0131 225 1188 using a credit/debit card, which is subject to a
£3.00 booking fee per transaction, or via the Tattoo Office web site where the
convenience fee also applies along with a limit of 4 tickets per
household.

This year's 90-minute show includes over 1,000
performers from the USA, Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, Canada, Norway and the United Kingdom along with a colourful celebration to mark 100
years of the Territorial Army and a few surprises.
