Showcase:LIVE is a night of brilliant live music organised and hosted by George Eason. His aim has always been simple - to showcase the best new artists!
On April 7th, Showcase:LIVE will literally be taking the nation by storm. After our launch in early 2007 and a string of successful shows in London, we will be taking our shows on the road, visiting The Croft in Bristol, the Soho Revue Bar in London, Cabaret Voltaire in Edinburgh, Bar Amp in Manchester and London for a second time with a show at the Soho Revue bar piano lounge.
Our original aim was to showcase the best new music, and although that hasn't changed, we're now looking to showcase music across the UK... reaching acts, fans and people in the industry that haven't been able to make it to any of our London shows.
The entire tour is being filmed by Red TV, Sky Channel 186. The 5-part series, one city / venue per show, will be aired on Friday nights at 9pm from 25th April. They will be filming interviews with each of our performers as well as the main show.
The Scottish leg of the tour in Edinburgh on Wednesday, 9th April will see performances from Andy Knox, Cinderella Theory, Eddy Collins, MyIQ, Rubylux and Tracey Braithwaite. It will take place at the Cabaret Voltaire, 36 Blair Street, Edinburgh, EH1 1QR.
