Scottish Tourism Week 2008
4th-11th March
'Invest in Scottish Tourism'
Dear Editor,
Scottish
Tourism Week™ will take place throughout Scotland from the 4th - 11th
March 2008. The week is aimed at raising the awareness of tourism as
Scotland's most sustainable industry and this year's theme is
'Investing in Scottish Tourism'.
Scottish Tourism Week will
bring the private, public and elected sector together under one
positive agenda, that is, how we can work together to drive forward
tourism across Scotland. We are determined to build on the success of
previous Scottish Tourism Weeks in order to create a positive political
climate for growth in tourism, which will in turn support and attract
greater levels of private investment.
Highlighting Scottish Tourism Week is the Scotland United Conference which promises
to be the event to have your views heard both through debate and
through the interactive feedback sessions to influence the key drivers
for tourism in Scotland.
