As part of the celebrations to mark 100 years since the World Mission Conference in Edinburgh 1910, which heralded the beginning of the modern ecumenical movement, the 25 member World Council of Churches Executive Committee is meeting at Carberry Tower from 14-17 September.
Members of the Executive have shared in a number of special events which have included visits to local congregations, the National Racial Justice Sunday Service, a seminar at Scottish Churches House, celebrating its 50 years since dedication by the World Council in 1960 and an evening conversation about the churches-together model in Scotland.
