An Edinburgh resident has won a million pound jackpot in November's Premium Bond draw, the second in as many months. Prior to the win by an Edinburgh woman in October, the last time the NS&I's "Agent Million" visited Edinburgh was back in October 2006.
November's winning ticket (number: 211HV345974) was bought by an Edinburgh man just over 4 years ago. His total Premium Bond holding was £30,000.
There were two jackpot prizes of a £1 million this month, the other winner being from Cambridgeshire.
Their winning numbers were just two of almost 2.4 million drawn by ERNIE for the November draw – a new record number of prizes distributed in a single monthly draw in over 60 years of Premium Bonds.
The Edinburgh man is the 22nd £1 million jackpot winner from Scotland and 373rd overall. There have only been three jackpot winners from Edinburgh in the draw's history.
