Here they are: the Edinburgh City Council Election Results for 3rd May 2007... a little later than expected due to technical difficulties. This is the first time that the local elections have taken place under a system the new electoral system, the Single Transferable Vote.
Labour loses again - a huge 50% loss of seats on Edinburgh City Council! The Lib Dems shore up their presence to become largest party on council. Nats have a significant presence with 12 seats, with reduced Tory presence behind them. And hello, Green party!
