Donnie Munro to headline Edinburgh Guitar & Music Festival Finale Edinburgh, UK,
Donnie Munro has been announced as the headline artist for the Edinburgh Guitar & Music Festival Finale on Monday 27th May 2013. The former Runrig lead singer and his band will bring to a close three packed days of performance by artists from all over the world.
Munro is one of Scotland’s musical legends who has thrilled audiences far and wide with his unique voice and musical style. Backed by some of the country’s finest musicians, his concerts currently feature a mix of material from the Runrig back catalogue to more traditional original songs, performed in both English and Gaelic, all delivered with captivating charisma and vivacity.
The Finale concert’s main support comes from dynamic young fiddle player Maggie Adamson and guitar maestro Brian Nicholson. The Shetland duo has released three acclaimed albums to date.
