Zapcat Racing, an exciting, high speed inflatable powerboat competition, is returning to Edinburgh next month. The first leg of the Zapcats Celtic Cup and forming part of the main Zapcats Championship will be free to watch throughout the weekend July 3-4 at the quayside at Ocean Terminal Shopping Centre.
The action-packed spectator sport is great fun for the whole family and to coincide with the Zapcats Racing, Ocean Terminal is also bringing M&D’s attractions back to the centre for the weekend.
Since it began in the UK in 2001, Zapcat Racing has seen rapid growth becoming the world’s largest one-design powerboat series. The versatility of these feisty little powerboats is one of the many reasons for their success within the UK water sports scene. Zapcat Racing offers a fast-paced form of boat racing which is accessible to its audience.
