“Bird and wildlife watching is one of the fastest growing hobbies in Scotland and around the world," says Scottish Birdfair organiser, Sarah McDowell. "Bands like Elbow, Doves, and British Sea Power all cite birds and bird watching as the inspiration for some of their songs, and celebrities such as Jarvis Cocker, Bill Bailey and Alex Zane have all helped to lend a new, cool aspect to this fantastic hobby."
