About the venue
One of Scotland's most spectacular castles, steeped in history of the Scottish people. William Wallace, Robert the Bruce and Mary Queen of Scots passed this way once. Famous victories over the English at Stirling Bridge (1297) and Bannockburn (1314) were both fought nearby.
Today the castle is run by government agency Historic Scotland and is open to the public.
Stirling is about 36 miles from Edinburgh and is well connected by road and rail.
