All We Hear Is Lady GaGa
Nine
Inch Nails, Jane's Addiction, Glasvegas, Pet Shop Boys, Lady GaGa, The View, Eagles of Death Metal and Gary Go all added to the T in the Park Bill!
The T in the Park 2009 line
up announcements just wont quit and we're about to wow you some more as
today we reveal three of
the world's ultimate metal and alt acts who will all play the Radio 1/NME Stage
this year. We're also delighted to share all of our headliners for
the King
Tut's Wah Wah Tent and more!
American
alt/rock pioneers Jane's
Addiction will perform together following a 17
year break with the phenomenal Farrell/Navarro/Avery/Perkins line up as
they stride out on Saturday's Radio 1/NME Stage alongside their industrial rock
brothers, the more-than-massive, twelve times Grammy nominated Nine Inch Nails who've been
busy storming the global touring circuit this year to mark their 20th year anniversary.
2008's most clamoured-after act proved to be Glasvegas,
who delivered one of the most emotive sets of the festival last year, not only
for those lucky enough to have made it into the Future's Stage, but also for the many fans who
surrounded the outside of the tent just to hear their incredible songs.
They're back on home turf again this summer and will co-headline the King Tut's Wah Wah Tent on Saturday alongside the phenomenal Manic Street
Preachers.
It's A Sin' if you're not utterly ecstatic about this one! The
legendary Pet Shop Boys will close the King
Tut's Wah Wah Tent on Sunday
12th July with a phenomenal set comprising their classic
British electro pop and synth stylings from a career spanning over 30 years and
50 million album sales worldwide. Speaking exclusively about their T in the Park 2009 appearance, Neil Tennant said: "We are really looking forward to
playing our first festival in Scotland.
Unbelievably, it's six years since we last played a concert in Scotland
so this is going to be special!"
The
ultra glam, Queen inspired not to mention Grammy nominated Lady GaGa will grace T in the Park on Saturday this year
following a phenomenal break onto the music scene with her number one hit
‘Just Dance'. Previously having written songs for the likes of the
Pussycat Dolls, she is fast becoming the new Pop Princess on both sides of the Atlantic
taking to the stage at the Brits with none other than her fellow T in the Park
performers, Pet Shop Boys and
Killers frontman, Brandon Flowers for a blinding collaboration.
There's
guaranteed to be a party when Dundee's favourite sons, The View headline King Tut's Wah Wah Tent on Friday 10th July performing anthems from their debut album ‘Hats off to
the Buskers' as well as tracks from second album ‘Which
Bitch?'. Expect to hear thousands of voices chanting ‘The View Are
On Fire' before their set is over!
Josh
Homme will bring his uber successful side project Eagles of Death Metal to Balado and wow fans with a feast of
tracks including some from 2008 album ‘Heart
On' when they take to the Radio 1/NME Stage on Sunday.
Gary Go will
make his second consecutive appearance at T
in the Park 2009 taking time out of his recently announced support
slot on the Take That summer stadium tour. Debut single ‘Wonderful'
has been dominating airwaves since its February release and his debut album is
set to follow in May giving us all time to brush up on those sure to be sing
along songs!
