The Fringe promoter Understairs who, earlier this month, lost one of their key venues the Apostolic Church has gone into liquidation days before the Fringe kicks off.
The promoter lost the Apostolic Church after it took exception to the content of some of its shows on the grounds that it would offend its congregation.
All 30 of the 58 shows from the Apostolic have been relocated to other venues.
The EuroScot and Royal Scots Club, the two other Fringe venues that are listed in the Fringe programme under the Understairs banner, are expected to go ahead with their programmes under a different promoter.
